Five of Swords

A smirking figure gathers three swords as two others walk away under a stormy sky. The Five of Swords is the pyrrhic-victory card — the argument you won, the point you proved, the cost you paid. The card asks whether being right was worth being alone.

Reconciliation; releasing the need to win; or a fight not yet over.

Past: a victory that cost you something. Present: drop the sword. Future: a resolution that requires letting go of the win. In relationships: conflict that needs de-escalation. As a yes/no: no, by way of a victory you did not want.
