Ten of Swords

A figure lies face-down on a shore, ten swords in their back, red sky pierced by a yellow dawn beyond. The Ten of Swords is the rock-bottom card — the worst already happened. Its hidden message is the dawn: nothing further can be done to you here, and the only way is up.

Recovery beginning; refusing to get back up; or fear of a fall not yet taken.

Past: a defeat that ended a chapter. Present: the worst is already done; rise. Future: an ending followed by sunrise. In relationships: an ending that frees both people. As a yes/no: no — but a new question is coming.
