Runes answer best when the question has a centre

Ask for a pattern

Try “What pattern should I notice?” rather than “Will this happen?” The runes are stronger at revealing dynamics than promising outcomes.

Let the position speak

Read each stone through its position first, then blend the meanings. A difficult rune in the obstacle position can be useful; the same rune as outcome asks for caution.

Close with action

After the reading, name one small act. Runes are old practical symbols: they want a decision, a repair, a boundary, or a step.
