Five of Cups

A cloaked figure stares at three spilled cups; two upright cups stand behind, unnoticed. The Five of Cups is the grief card — the necessary mourning of what has fallen. Its second message is gentle: do not let the loss blind you to what is still upright.

Turning around; integration of loss; or grief that has not yet had its turn.

Past: a loss that still shapes you. Present: grieve, but turn around. Future: a recovery that includes the remembering. In relationships: an emotional loss to be honoured. As a yes/no: not in the form you imagined.
