When balanced
When the crown is open you carry a quiet ceiling-less sense that life has shape, that you belong to something larger and are not the centre of it. Awe is available. Faith — in whatever you call it — is not an argument. Meditation comes easily.
When imbalanced
When the crown is blocked: cynicism, spiritual flatness, purposelessness, isolation, the chronic sense that something is missing and you cannot name it. Or the opposite — spiritual bypass, floating above an unlived life.
Practices to balance
- Sit in stillness for ten minutes a day, no app, no agenda.
- Inversion (Tree Pose, Headstand if you have it) — bring awareness to the crown.
- Spend one hour outside under the sky, look up, do nothing.
- Read something written by someone who actually believed something.
- Carry clear quartz; burn frankincense at dawn or dusk.
