Dawn, breakthrough, and awakening. The darkest hour gives way to light. A dramatic positive shift transforms your perspective — you cannot un-see what the morning has shown you.

This rune is non-invertible. It carries the same charge however it falls.

Dagaz has no reversed meaning — dawn always follows darkness. The breakthrough cannot be stopped, only delayed by how long you keep the curtains drawn.

Past: a turning point you can now name. Present: clarity is dawning. Future: a transformation that holds. Cannot reverse — once seen, always seen. Pairs with Sowilo (sun) and Wunjo (joy) for unambiguous good readings.
