Sorrow and alienation. Joy is elusive or superficial. Misalignment with your true desires causes dissatisfaction; you wear a smile that does not reach your eyes.

Past: a happiness that shaped your idea of home. Present: a small but real fulfilment is at hand. Future: belonging, family, recognition. Closes the first aett; pairs softly with Gebo (gift) and Mannaz (community).
